I wanted an easy way to show off my vacation photos so I pulled out my new MacBook Pro and used the iMovie application.

The program is pretty easy to use, even as a first-time user, but I've used more technical programs such as Final Cut Pro. I was able to accomplish what I wanted to, but there aren't many options. You have a choice of a few effects and transitions, but I would like a bigger variety when making a movie.

The movie that I made was about 10 mins long and I had to use the same transitions over, and over, and over.

So, for a beginner iMovie would probably be a good program, but for somebody with experinece in video editing it is quite bland.

Introducing...the miCRADLE

Pro.Fit International is up to it again. I installed it and have been very happy with it ever since. My iPod easily snaps in and out of it and keeps it at eye level when I'm driving. The VSM Legend attached beneath the dashboard and is extremly sturdy. The miMount is then attached to that with screws, but the screws are covered with a sticker that is included so the whole thing looks pretty sharp even if the iPod isn't on it.
